  • How leaders think, communicate, and make decisions
  • How to solve real problems and drive results
  • How to take ownership without waiting for permission
  • How to lead people, projects, and standards

These skills apply inside Johnny Tsunami and beyond

Program Snapshot
  • Format: Weekly session + real-world assignments
  • Time: ~2 hours per week
  • Completion: Participants who complete the program receive:
  • A Future Leaders Certificate
  • Documented experience in leadership development and business fundamentals
  • Priority consideration for future opportunities as the company grows (new locations, lead roles, expanded responsibility)

Eligibility Requirements

To apply, you must: (within 45 Days of applying)

  • Be in good standing (attendance, attitude, performance)
  • Be willing to receive direct feedback
  • Commit to completing the full program if selected
Application Requirements

To be considered, submit two items:

1) Personal Statement (1 page, bullets only)

  • Want to grow as a person, not just clock hours
  • Care about how the company runs, not just your task
  • Are curious about leadership, business, and ownership
  • Want to build skills that transfer to any career path

2) Business Improvement Idea (1 page max)

  • A real issue or opportunity you see in the company
  • Your proposed improvement
  • Why it matters
  • How you’d measure success

This is not about writing perfectly—it’s about thinking clearly.

Selection Process

Only 2–3 participants will be selected based on:

  • Quality of application
  • Ownership mindset
  • Past follow-through
  • Coachability and maturity

Expectations If Selected

If selected, you agree to:

  • Show up prepared and engaged each week
  • Complete assignments on time
  • Take ownership of a final project that creates real value
  • Hold yourself to a higher standard during the program
Important Notes
  • Not everyone who applies will be selected
  • Not everyone who completes the program will move into a new role immediately
  • Those who complete the program successfully will be top consideration as new positions and locations open
